The Last Samurai

The one film we critiqued as a group was The Last Samurai.  We considered the two films that we watched in class 7 Samurai and Harakiri but decided on The Last Samurai mostly because many people are familiar with the movie.  While deciding, we came across many interesting films to analyse, and although we could not get to them all, here is a short list of films we came across that contain a strong samurai background.
